Our target

Design YAL aims to conform to WCAG 2.1 level AA. We test the landing, sign-in, home, projects, editor, settings, bill of quantities, pricing/waitlist, contact, legal, share and contractor quote pages with automated checks (axe) and manual keyboard review, in light and dark themes and at narrow (320 px) widths.

What we provide

Every control has an accessible name, dialogs trap and restore focus, forms announce errors, and reduced-motion preferences are respected. Most drawing actions have precise inputs: walls, rooms, doors, windows, furniture and fixtures can be placed and edited with typed values, and every quantity and price is available in the bill of quantities. The Flow and Measure tools currently need the drawing canvas.

Known limitations

The 2D plan canvas and the 3D view are inherently visual. Use the Precise mode inputs, item panels and the bill of quantities as alternatives for every drawing action except Flow and Measure. We are working on richer keyboard drawing support.

Report a barrier

If you hit an accessibility barrier, tell us through our contact page and we will prioritize a fix.

We use strictly necessary storage for sign-in and your preferences, and our servers keep operational, security and billing records (such as sign-up, AI usage and limits, exports and errors) to run and protect Design YAL. With your consent we also record optional, privacy-friendly product analytics. See our Privacy Policy.
